Our guests, Michelle and Lynn from Shanghai,CHINA. They are sisters. It goes without saying that they were very good at writing Kanji. We went to supermarket,Bicqlo and Matsumoto-Kiyoshi to buy Japanese products.Rice,Soysauce,Ricecooker,Razor, Cosmetics...so many!

【Michelle's review】 We had wonderful time at Mariko’s home. We learned pragmatic skills of Furoshiki, and practiced calligraphy which we had learned when we were young at school in China. Even though Chinese and Japanese culture shared some similarity, we still had great fun during the whole session. Mariko’s mum was such a great cook, we enjoyed a generous and delicious sukiyaki lunch she had prepared for us. Now back home, and we will certainly cook sukiyaki accordingly when winter approaches. I also think it a brilliant idea that Mariko could meet people from all over the world under her own roof, interact with them and share with them the valuable culture of her country. Mariko and her mum were also so helpful that they had even accompanied us to purchase some goods we needed in the supermarket after the experience session. I wish Mariko all the very best for all of her future experience sessions!”
