【Helena's review】... Mariko was the most amazing host. We had a fantastic time in her home and felt really connected with Japanese culture after our time with her and her family.

She meets you at the train station and takes you to a gorgeous traditional sweet/dessert shop to pick your own dessert to eat with your tea. You turn go to her house and you have a range if activities including origami, cloth folding and calligraphy writing. Everything is done with time and it was a great treat to have this personal time with a Japanese person in their home. Her daughter was there and did the origami and are lunch with us which was lovely as well. Her mother is an amazing cool and cooked us a feast!!! We got to roll our own sushi rolls as well which was so fun!! Please book this experience as you will not be disappointed!!!
